Day by Day

Day by day, and with each passing moment,
Strength I find to meet my trials here;

עוֹד לֹא אָבְדָה תִּקְוָתֵנוּ	od lo' 'avdah tikvatenu	To be a free people in our land,
הַתִּקְוָה בָּת שְׁנוֹת אַלְפַּיִם	hatikvah bat shnot 'alpayim
לִהְיוֹת עַם חָפְשִׁי בְּאַרְצֵנוּ	lihyot 'am khofshi be'artsenu	The land of Zion and Jerusalem.
